ABOUT

we are all about...

fun & fitness

Just like you, we love keeping fit…fit as #&%!….ready for anything. We run, we lift, we climb, we crawl. We also love our fitness clothing. We developed Fit As Fitness to provide you with fun but functional fitness clothing. Clothes that express those little thoughts you have while training. Sassy and fun but also fit for purpose.

Join us in our journey to be Fit as #&%! – ready for anything. Send us pictures of yourself wearing our clothing and training to be Fit as %&#! – the sweatier you are, the better. We don’t want to see photos with filters or people exercising with makeup on! We want to see real people, just like us, getting out there and giving life everything they’ve got.

& ability

Whatever shape, age or ability there is always something you can do to keep fit and healthy.

about the founders

always keen for an adventure!

We’re two great mates who have shared a lot of fitness adventures together – Tough Mudder, Adventure Races, Ultra Trail Australia, trail runs, half marathons, triathlons. We’re also mums who juggle day-to-day family life with a busy professional career. One of us is a graphic designer and one of us is a tax nerd…can you tell who does what?? We’ve joined our professional skills and our love of fitness to establish Fit As Fitness.

Jeanette

Jeanette played the general team sports that you do as a kid but never developed an intense interest in health and fitness.  After 5 years at university followed by a hectic career, postgraduate studies and 2 children, fitness and a healthy lifestyle were never a high priority for Jeanette.  A good friend convinced her to join a local bootcamp in 2016 and thus began her crazy fitness journey.  It was at this bootcamp that she met an amazing group of people who trained rain, hail or shine every morning at 5:45am. It was under the guidance of her trainer MAD Mobile PT that Jeanette’s fitness improved out of sight.  At first, she trained because the loved the social aspect (interpret this as: she loved to chat with friends!) but as her fitness improved, she really enjoyed pushing her body to see what it could do (though she still loves a chat!).

2019 was a standout year for Jeanette as she competed in many different events including triathlons, trail races, adventure races, half marathons and the 96km Kokoda Challenge in the Gold Coast Hinterland.  2020 is shaping up to be equally as challenging with Jeanette looking to complete in her first ultramarathon in New Zealand in February.

Katy

After getting unfit as #$%&! after having her son, Katy discovered running and became obsessed. Over the last 9 years she has run races all around Australia including 15+ half marathons, Auckland Marathon and Bangkok Midnight Marathon.

Katy feels very lucky to be able to combine her love of running with work. She also runs Creative Promotion and Products as a graphic designer and importer. She has built relationships with races around the country, designing and manufacturing race medals, towels, shirts and pretty much anything you can put a logo on.

After aquiring a stress injury in August 2019 after completing the Bangkok Midnight Marathon, she is on the slow road to recovery and can’t wait to start running again any day now. She hopes to complete a half-marathon again this year after her full recovery.

Katy has also recently found a new obssession is Crossfit, and is training hard at Urban Crossfit most days.

It is always a battle for her to hard to fit her exercise into her busy week that includes being a Mum, and running her own business as a graphic designer and importer.
